Frequently Asked Questions

Artemis Candles are made with 100% all-natural soy wax, cotton wicks, and the finest natural fragrance oils with no nasty additives or dyes.

On top of all that, our fragrance oils are Vegan Friendly, Manufacturered and filled in the UK, and Animal Cruelty-Free.

All Artemis Candles are hand-poured and hand-packaged in our workshop in the heart of West Yorkshire. Please note, at this time our workshop is not open to the public.

Soy wax is made from soybeans – a completely renewable resource grown throughout the world. Compares to convention wax, which is refined from crude oil, Soy Wax doesn’t give off any nasty petrol-carbon soot. AKA – No nasty black marks on your walls!

Not only that, but Soy Wax also burns slower than paraffin, so the candles last longer!

A longer wick creates a larger flame, a larger flame melts the wax faster, and the wax melts faster than the wick burns away. Keeping the wick trimmed and burning a maximum of 3 hours at a time slows everything down so you get a longer burn time.

Keeping the burn time low also helps prevent the jars from overheating and possibly cracking.

Artemis Candles aims to dispatch all orders within 1-3 working days.

Delivery times can vary depending on which delivery option you chose and how busy the couriers are. However, most packages arrive earlier than expected.

We hand-pour our candles and aim to post items off as soon as possible – therefore we can’t always guarantee any cancellations are possible. However, if you would like to amend or cancel your order please get in touch as soon as possible and we will assist you the best we can.

If you are unhappy with your order, for whatever reason, please let us know and we will look to resolve this as soon as we can.

If we decide a refund is necessary, the items must be returned to us unused and be in the same condition they were received. Buyers are responsible for return postage. If you have any questions, please get in touch, here.

We take the utmost care when packaging and post your item, however, sometimes they can arrive damaged or broken. If this does happen, please email us at hello@artemiscandlecompany.co.uk as soon as possible with your order details and photos of the packaging and product damage.

We will look to resolve this for you as soon as possible.
