The Artemis Wood Smoke and Tobacco Candle is a natural soy wax candle that is sure to add some depth and luxury to any room. The name is very fitting as the scent is strong, but not overpowering. The top notes of leather, bergamot pith, green leaves and warmer citrus notes give way to a full and complex heart with nutmeg, carnation, black pepper and aromatic patchouli. The base is a blend of amber, tobacco and sandalwood that gives the scent a warm and inviting feel.

This is the perfect candle for anyone who loves the smell of a crackling fire, a relaxing night in, bookstores, or a good cup of coffee in the morning.

Candles: All Artemis candles are made using vegan-friendly and cruelty-free soy wax and paraben-free fragrance oils.

Packaging: Each candle is hand-poured into an amber candle jar totaling 180ml which includes a sealable black plastic lid. We then pack each candle into a cardboard tube for postage. All of which are made out of recycled materials.

The First Burn

When lighting your Artemis Candle for the first time, burn the candle for 2-4 hours until the wax melts all the way across the diameter of the candle. This will help to prevent tunneling and will create an even burn for the duration of the use of the candle.

Trim Your Wicks

We recommend that you trim your candle wick before lighting your candle. The wick always needs to be around 1/4 of an inch (1/2 CM) long. It will also ensure your flame is never too big and that the glass doesn’t overheat – helping to keep the candle burning for longer.

General Health & Safety

When extinguishing your Artemis candle, try not to blow it out. This will help to prevent your wax from becoming uneven or pushing to one side of the glass container, creating tunneling. A wick buried in pushed wax is also harder to relight.

Artemis Candles should always be used and handled carefully. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always store your candles in a cool, dark and dry place.

Always burn candles out of the reach of children and pets. Do not burn candles on or near anything that may catch fire.
